Telecom Italia’s former CEO Amos Genish has stood down from the company’s board. Genish was ousted as CEO from Telecom Italia in November 2018 while on a business trip in South Korea. Frank Cadoret, who runs Vivendi’s Canal+ unit, will replace Genish on the board. The change is a sign of the improved relationship between US activist investor Elliot and Vivendi, the company’s largest shareholders. Genish has received a €4.2 million settlement payment.
