UBS cuts bonuses of female bankers after maternity leave

The Swiss bank has been criticised for using maternity leave as a reason to cut bonuses. Many women have complained or even resigned after their bonuses were cut 30% or more compared to the pre-maternity leave level. UBS has been made aware of the issue and is trying to address it to achieve more gender equality and reduce the gender pay gap.
