Unilever achieved its target of gender equality in the global leadership team

The Anglo-Dutch FMCG company announced that it had achieved its goal of a 50/50 gender representation on the senior management level, comprising of 14,000 managerial roles globally, a year ahead of the planned deadline. To achieve equality, the company focused on women representation in departments such as operations and technology, finance, and supply chain; created a dedicated Inclusion and Diversity team; and introduced a "gender appointment ratio", among other initiatives.
